Ethan’s Top 10 Movies

Coming up with a top 10 favorite movies of all time list is harder than you might think. At least it was for me. There are so many good movies out there that I’d like to feature on this list. . . But that is probably just my pride talking. After all, the real reason David and I are doing these top 10 lists is to give you all, our readers both new and old, a clear idea of our tastes. So, without further ado. . .

My criteria was the movie must be one that resonates with me and presents themes and/or ideas that are important to me, or at least I love them in some way. It must also be a movie that I love, meaning I really like it, think it’s remarkable, enjoy watching it again and again, and would quickly recommend it. The flaws and problems I have with the film are more than compensated for by other elements in the movie, and it must not majorly promote ideas that I am strongly against. For a series of movies, I either chose one of the movie’s from that series or chose the series as a whole, if the series told a complete, whole story. As I only chose one album per artist in my top 10 albums lost, so I only chose one movie per director for this list.
